Is the Benjamin Wever listed in the novice 400m from SA or is it Benjamin Weaver from Vic?

He is the SA Benjamin Wever. Not the Vic runner.

There is only one Sean Quilty though, and the Vic veteran is entered for Colley Reserve.

Any shining lights at the end of the season?

turn out

Is this going to be another Pultney and have dozens of scratchings or is it going to be a good turn out?

7 Big Tips on Wed Apr 06, 2011 5:13 am

The hallowed turf of Colley Reserve at the Bay will be ripped up for the final time of the 2010/2011 season this Sunday.

After long & exciting season full of tight lycra, aneroxic distance runners & creative warm up drills the curtain closes where it peaked on December 28th.

My team of expert tipsters have analysed the field & have come up with the following findings…

1. The feature race over the 100m distance will be run in 11 something seconds
2. Many Jager bombs will be consumed at the Pier Hotel
3. A man in a blue car will do something foolish sometime during the meet.

The below list of runners in handicap order will feature in the top ten with placings alongside name.

Woodhams 10
Richards 5
Cibich 8
Dartnall 1
Letton 4
Tronnolone 6
Palmer 7
Schutz 2
Ali Saliu 9
Grimwade 3

Dartnall to win & boost his athlete of the year/sprinter of the year prospects

Final quote for the year so better make it a good one & keeping with the theme of an after party at the Pier Hotel…or my place

‘Sex is not the answer. Sex is the question. "Yes" is the answer.’

NSB - the question is how many of your top 10 will actually be running? there are a few no shows the past few pro meets.

After much deliberation & using the latest in code-breaking pre-race technology an approximate 50% abscence is expected from the top 10 due to injuries, non-interest & logistical inconvenience.
Any further information that comes to light will be added to the super computer to be used in continued experimentation & investagatory techniques.

If it helps - Jordan Tronnolone definitely won't run. He has an obsession with Michelle the trainer from the Biggest Loser and feels the only way he's going to meet her is if he packs on the kilos and auditions to be a contestant for the next series. So he's not training; just chilling with his band and whacking on the pounds.

Haven't seen him for a while but those who have reckon he makes Meatloaf look like a rissole.

Ouch!!! wrote:Youngy thats bit disrespectful!! and you wonder why you training group is going down hill, I put it to you that since you started these forums, your stable has slowly gone down hill!

Yes you can come on here and ban my ip address but in the long run you will have no stable and ill still be running.

Im sure you will most likley delete this but its from the heart

To be honest, sounds like Jordan is living the dream right now.....

Ouch/intheno - that's now two posts I've deleted, under two different aliases. Put your proper name to your posts so you open yourself up to the same scrutiny and I'm happy to debate the issue.

Uninformed rubbish from anonymous cretins isn't tolerated. You should have worked that out by now.

PS: Jordan's band is doing well and I believe is in the process of being recorded so he's taken a break from the sport. As Rusty suggests, it was merely a bit of banter between myself and JT - a little hint to make sure he keeps active doing something during the off season.

PPS: Jordan has his own radio show on Wednesday nights on 'Radio Adelaide 101.5FM as part of his Uni course. He talks about Gen Y issues and Uni stuff.

Well looking at the list, only 1 of them is likely to achieve that, as he is the only one who has this season.

17 Cyber Bullying, Censorship and Sledging on Sat Apr 09, 2011 1:21 am

As a recent newcomer participant in this forum, I have found myself the target of many derogatory and provocative comments.

When these cowardly anonymous comments first appeared, I responded with a "Who are you?" question which I am still asking.

Who are these cyber bullies, these gossips who get their thrills making stupid nasty comments about me?

Why do the admins of this forum allow such comments?

For the admins, it is a challenge to distinguish between fair comment, sledging and malicious gossip.

The sport/business of pro running can benefit from some entertaining competitive comments, but cowardly malicious cyber bullying is a disgrace.

I would like to hear (non-anonymous) comments on this issue.

18 hey NSB who are you? on Sat Apr 09, 2011 1:44 am

In a comment on this thread, NSB states
"3. A man in a blue car will do something foolish sometime during the meet."

Which raises several questions:

NSB, coward crap talker, who are you?

NSB, some of your stuff is amusing, you are clever with words, so why do you make such crappy malicious personal comments?

NSB, it is not "a blue car", it is the BlueCar - OK?

Best wishes

G'day Brett,

Firstly, it is very difficult to monitor this forum 24/7 so occasionally posts will appear that may seem funny to some but is offensive to others. We leave the posts on until we receive a complaint, then it is immediately deleted.

Up until now, I had no idea that you were offended by some of the posts. Your responses were written in a way that suggested tht you might have enjoyed the banter. I've obviously misread the situation.

If you are annoyed or offended by certain posts - by all means, let us know and the posts will be removed.

It's important people are respectful of each other on Pro Track, treat each other with some level of decency & dignity. The utmost integrity of the forum is paramount to its existence.

I can assure you Stokesy, now I'm fully aware of your feelings on the issue, posts having a crack at you will be removed and the contributor risks being banned.

If you have any further problems send the admin a message via ProTrack.

PS: The 'blue car' comment from NSB is not the sort of comment we will delete - it was far too random and does not target anyone personally. There's a lot of blue cars on the road (including mine). NSB is known to Pro Track and is a regular contributor. None of his writings have a malicious intent. So we would prefer you refrained from referring to him as a coward.

I love you!
