QLD OPEN & AWD CHAMPIONSHIPS BEGIN ON FRIDAY

Over 200 athletes will take part in the 2011 QLD Open & AWD Championships at the State Athletics Facility this weekend. The final timetable has been set, and entry lists have been confirmed for what is set to be another exciting weekend of athletics.

There have been some changes to the start times of events from the original draft so ALL ATHLETES MUST view the final timetable to check the time of their event/s. Please click on the link below to view the final timetable.

The entry list has also been updated on the QA website. Click on the link below to view the current entry list to confirm you have been correctly entered into your events. Notify the QA office immediately on 3343 5653 if there are eny errors/omissions.

IMPORTANT - On the day of the Championships:
All athletes MUST report to the Check-In Centre to advise their intention to compete no later than 60 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time of their event. Athletes are encouraged to confirm for all events in which they are competing on that day at the same time. Athletes must sign to confirm their entries. The Check-In Centre at the State Athletics Facility will be located next to the competition control room at the southern end of the track. Athletes who fail to check-in on time will be withdrawn from their events.


GATE ADMISSION FEE
Gate admission will be charged for the duration of the Championships. Adults - $5.00 per person per day. Concession - $3.00 per person per day. Kids (under 10 years) - FREE. Competing Athletes and Officials - FREE.
