Best 400 is 45.79 relay leg, but surely the point is what is his best 800m time--after all he is an 800m runner. Renshaw's best 800m is 1m 45.79, that's what it's all about!!

YOUNGY........True indication ,you have no real clear picture on how to train middle distance runners when you delete posts that dont support you, rather than defending your motives.
Perhaps you may want to go to Jims forum and see what other people think as I will now post it up there for everyone to read and respond to.
Bodens not a machine and in my opinion is a season away from being ruined.

hardly,

Your posts were deleted for good reason. For a start you posted under the pseudonym 'hardly' then when no-one responded you came back with another post under the pseudonym 'agree'. Agreeing with your own posts is a little schizophrenic, but each to their own.

I will soon be banning your IP address so you can no longer post from it. The IP address is from Toronto, Canada by the way which sort of narrows down the suspects a bit.

One of the reasons it will be banned is that you gutlessly and anonymously criticise so that the same scrutiny you have applied to me can't be cast over your own coaching or competition performances.

The motive for your posts was purely and simply out of a hatred for me. They were biased, nonsensical, rants devoid of any understanding of where the athlete is at and what the expectations were. All I will say, is that given the training phase currently undertaken, all expectations were met - 4 races over three days includng both finals.

If James Boden was running with any other coach you would not have brought it up. After all there were other SA athletes at the Vic state titles who didn't run well, failed to make a final, didn't run anywhere near their previous bests, etc, but you have targeted the only athlete at the Vic titles from YGTS. So the bias is blatantly obvious.

If you look through the results of the Victorian championships there were a number of Vic athletes who did not perform up to what they had been running, but as we don't know where they are at in training, whether there were set backs etc, it's impossible to form an opinion as to why they didn't run up to what their previous form might have indicated.

Nor do I care - it's none of my business.

Just as James Boden is none of yours.

So please go to another forum, your negative crap is not welcome here.

'hardly, I dont know who you are but your not the sharpest tool in the shed are you'

If you re-read Youngy's post about the location of the IP address....and you still don't know who it possibly could be after reading this forum for 5 seconds....I think using a line like:

'hardly, I dont know who you are but your not the sharpest tool in the shed are you'

....you're kidding right?

As for the 800m at the vic state titles, if want a positive comment, well bloody done to Andrew Giam - full time Med student and an animal on the track to get up for silver!

I would have deleted 'hardenup's post as I'm not interested in having this issue escalated any further. But as Nitta has responded, I'll leave it there.

Good call by Nitta, focus on the positives and Andrew Giam's performance is terrific.

by the way, Alex Carew's win in the 400m in 47.37 is a very good break through for him also.
