A 70m gift is always interesting but this is not a poll for that race rather the 100m lift. Numbers are lower for Sunday so those with visions or grandeur may take the easy option. Who do we think is after the lift?

The Frankston Gift has returned and is offering a straight 100m race. I feel that someone will take the bonus but it may not be who we think.

Daniel Sonsini 5.5m – 16% - Sonsini looked good last year in taking the Castlemaine gift but was unable to get past a rampaging Rizzo in the Semi at Stawell. Has he improved enough to take a bonus here and threaten again? I would think he has and will be every chance at winning something.

Craig Rollinson 7.5m – 8% - Craig roared back in our minds after Maryborough. He could win here and bank the bonus. He is a hard one to judge, watch for him over the coming weeks.

Mitchell Palmer 8m / Rupert Lugo 8.5m – I feel that Lugo wont run. Palmer ‘with chips’ is an interesting one. Winning over 400m shows that he has the strength but does he have the speed? Definitely one to watch.

Brendan Boyle 14m / Stephanie Richards 16.25m – 16% - With respect to Boyle, these votes are not for him. He should probably be starting in front of Richards anyway to be considered. Richards could be left with this one if no one want the small purse. She will win something soon.

Good luck

That's good advice Mex. i think she has a better chance in the 70m women's race and we will save her for that one instead of the 100m open
