The last action before we all descend on to the small township of Stawell for the Easter carnival. The last chance for a bonus too. Interesting to see more entries here for a small 100m than the gift last week. Who do we like?

I tend to agree with that vetsunite. With a target time of 20.80 in the 200m at Stawell I have him off around 15 or 16 allowing for a track conversion. Whichever way you look at it he will be storming home.
A win also gives him 10m for the gift which puts him somewhere near the mark for a final. Good luck to him on all accounts, he has shown his form and is still in the mix.

Ummm you sure you don't mean 23.3 or was it really 22.3??? If the later, is he still in one piece as he must have run that wind assisted north of the border just as cyclone Debbie was rolling in.

22.36 (-0.1) is what he posted
So no tailwind and not 23.3
Found result online too in Vic masters 40-44 200m from Doncaster track

New track, tail wind and if she does get beat the winning time will be quick.

Spot on Untouchables. I'm just kidding I actually think she is a great chance. Breeze on she should be capable of going in the 10.40's I would think. Should be around the money

People who came 1st and 2nd today ran 0.7s faster than they did at Northcote and Geelong. Fairdinkum, our money is just as good as theirs, we come out and try every week and they go and do that and they think thats ok. Not very good sportsmanship is it

Untouchables, please tell me you are joking?
If you think Leigh Phelan doesn't try then you have never seen him race.
Were you at Maryborough, Castlemaine, Ballarat,  Shield Final, Open State Champs, Yarra Ranges, Bendigo, Euroa, Vic Masters? You just lost all credibility for anything you post in the future (if you even had any to begin with).
Oh and he didn't even run the 100 at Geelong.
Not to mention he hasn't moved in mark all season. Not even 0.25m. And Ringwood is the smallest race of the season? So you say he waited for that...

At Northcote he ran 10.84 and came 5th in his semi final. Kardakovski ran 10.87 in the final at Geelong. Also, don't call people names - I haven't called you any so there is no need for that.

He had one bad run. 5 months ago. And gained no handicap or monetary advantage out of it.
He also ran 6th at his grade 3 Aths day back in 1937.
You're a waste of space. Delete your account and save yourself further embarrassment

UNTOUCHABLES - I dont agree with everything Rosen writes but you also can't single out one run from the entire season for both these blokes and essentially say they are a bunch of cheats. If Northcote and Geelong were in the last month you may have a point but they weren't. Both have shown a fair amount of good form in other events and run times from memory that would not be too shy of what they did today. Phelan has been chasing a win in everything including the egg and spoon race this season so if you thought he wasnt going to come today and try and take the win and a quarter for Stawell you were badly mistaken. MR K has also been thereabouts for many gift races this season and is on fire in the 70m.

So it's unfortunate that you've selected specific stats to simply try and tarnish two athletes because the outcome didn't go your way.

Venting is good and I get it as this can sometimes be a frustrating sport but please try and avoid publishing comments online that don't really stack up.

Good luck for the rest of the season....aka Stawell!

Picked it. Despite falling for an obvious April fools joke on Facebook Razz
The comments about Phelan doggin' it are laughable. Agree with Rosen's sentiments
