This Saturday the Flagstaff Hill meeting will commence at 3.30pm.

Athletics SA has a Club Day meet that should conclude before 3.30pm. This allows athletes to have a run at Mile End before heading down to Flagstaff Hill.

My understanding of Club Day is that non-members can compete on a come& try basis.

Maybe the 3000m might be pushing it, but for those interested in events 100m to 1500m, you should have time to get to Flagstaff Hill.

ASA Club Day
Event Timetable
12.15pm - 800m
12.55pm - 100m
1.35pm - 400m
2.15pm - 1500m
2.55pm - 3000m

So if you are interested in recording a time for one of the above events then here's a chance to do it without having to be an ASA member.

ASA have altered the start times - everything has been put back an hour. Crying or Very sad

If you still want to try the 100, 400 or 800 at SANTOS stadium - you should have time to get to Flagstaff Hill...providing ASA doesn't get too far behind time.

ASA Club Day
Event Timetable
1.15pm - 800m
1.55pm - 100m
2.35pm - 400m
3.15pm - 1500m
3.55pm - 3000m

From ASA yesterday.

Please note that the start time of Club Day has been pushed back to 12pm due to clashes with an junior Adelaide Comets soccer game and E Grade's last meet of the season. Hopefully this doesn't affect too many plans that you may have had after the meet, apologies if they do.

Enter via the SA website:
https://clubday3.eventdesq.com/

It is $10 to enter, which I guess covers admin. It gives an athlete who has never run out at SANTOS stadium before, an opportunity to see what time (electric) they can run from scratch.
