1 Gone Forever ? on Mon Feb 13, 2017 10:22 am

Just thinking back to when I was capable of actually racing, and thinking how much of a shame that we lost the Burramine Gift. Never good enough to win it, but I rated it in my top 5 gifts. Keilor falling away this year also saddens me. Will Burramine ever ever be held again ?

Good post cantrun. It would be a shame to lose both of them. Some events like Stonnington or Prahran and Geelong had been dormant for a while but with a little work are back. Burramine was always a great meet. Great surface and the noise of the corellas coming in the evening was unique. Hopefully someone can get the information off Francis to bring it back. I agree it was in the top five vic races for a long time.
