Is this the first time that the Women's have their own 100m? I think so. Well done if it is. We talk parity but it must start somewhere. Let's hope for a little more $ in the coming years.

Can you put up a poll for how many NAP's and UP's will get handed out for this race?

A few more votes in this one but only really for three ladies. Let's see how it looks.

Jessica Payne 5.25m 10% - 'Feel the' Payne is a chance each time she runs. Her coach gets his stable ready for when they want. Payne ran well last season and has picked up a few wins along the way. Can she find that form early in the season? Should final.

Kirsty Stevens 7.75m 15% - Kirsty is moving in the right direction and is quietly carving out a nice little resume. She ran well by all accounts at Terang and is right in the mix here. JH has shown that he is more than willing for his group to take early wins and Kirsty may continue this trend. Definite final and should make the podium.

Brienna Musgrave 8m 27% - Brienna is very classy off this mark. She should be thereabouts in the final and I would expect her to make the podium as well. Can she win or is there something else that may be the focus? Not sure, it will be interesting to watch her on Sunday.

Really good field here and I hope that the ladies continue supporting the smaller events as they will continue to grow in stature and prize money. Great final looms.
