Looks like we may have to skip the poll this week as the marks are still not available. Not sure what is happening with the website but I would have thought that the handicappers did not need to do much this week. I will defend them on this one. Maybe not the errors in some peoples starting marks though Wink

No Mex, say it ain't so... we can't go into to the double header without the enjoyment of your polls and tipping wisdom!
One could overlook the fact there are no results from Sandy yet, or the next meeting is not updated.....but 4 days out and not even entry lists must be even frustrating for you Mex.
Fingers crossed we see some VAL web action tomorrow. Looking forward to your belated tips across the weekend!

Will the new website enable athletes to look up individual results, a service AV have had for years?

VAL had that service but no longer does.
Was looking to make the trek from the rat but it was not worth just entering 100m at the bool. There is now a 300m showing in timetable that was not on the bool entry list when I went to enter. When did the 300 open appear?

It's pretty ordinary that there is no handicaps posted or results from Sandy either. How is Mex supposed to get the polls up and going ???

300m open only 18 entries. Down from 26 last year. Maybe stuff up with it not appearing originally in list of events.
100m women 12 entries running for $1500 !! Down from 22 last year. Hell....even the 3200m got 18 entries.

Up now.

If I were looking for an easy win I would go to Warrnambool. Not many entries in some events with good money and a big metre incentive for the open gift!

Warrnambool, unfortunately clashes with AV state relay champs.... this takes a lot of entries away. This is very poor programming by the VAL given there are only 4 VAL events pre-Christmas.
