Hey Waz, love your work.

Can't see Boudrie and Mott finalling on current form. Motty only 10.93 on Saturday. Like your others tho.
I think Hinds and Carter will be in the final.

i dont think carter can run a sub 10.50 on grass to win. Hinds can only win if he is in career best form running 10.0. The winner will run 10.4 ish i think, it will be a out marker running 11.0 or something.

Open 550m Form

SIMON FITZPATRICK [FLEMINGTON , 16m] - Quality 800m runner with reasonable 400m form this season. Off a tight mark, however 4th at Movember 550m shows he is up to this.
MATTHEW HARGREAVES [TARNEIT , 18m] - Sprinter who is running a great 400m at present but may be found wanting over the extra distance. Will need luck.
MICHAEL RYDE [McKINNON , 19m] - Quality middle distance athlete and Stawell 3200m winner untried at the 550m journey. Keep safe.
TOM BURBIDGE [CANBERRA , 20m] - Kicked off his 2009/10 season with a run in the 550m at Epping then went on to win the Stawell Gift. Sprinter who will find this too long.
DEREK COLLINGE [CANBERRA , 21m] - Wangaratta 70m Open winner and VRTA and Movember 550m finalist. Watch betting.
JAMES CLARKE [PRESTON , 25m] - First VAL start. Won't find this easy.
FREDDY OVETT [ , 25m] - Only start this season 2nd in Movember 550m. Strong claims.
ADAM COOTE [ELWOOD , 26m] - Stawell 800m winner beaten in a photo finish at last weekend's 400m Camden Classic. Right in this.
CAMERON YORKE [CROYDON NORTH, 26m] - VRTA 550m finalist competitive over all distances this season but yet to post a victory. Each-way.
DOMINIC HOSKINS [ALBION , 27m] - Woodside 800m winner showing great form this season over 400m/800m. Overlook Dandenong 550m heat flop. Go well.
JOSH MATHER [CAROLINE SPRINGS, 28m] - Enjoying a stellar season with wins over 400m (Woodside) and 800m (Northcote). Threat.
MICHAEL MARANTELLI [TULLAMARINE , 29m] - Stawell 550m winner starting to hit form after a slow start to the season. Prefer others.
TIM ESCHEBACH [NEW SOUTH, 30m] - Novice runner first-up over the 550m journey. Looks tested.
RYAN CAMILLE [WHEELERS HILL, 30m] - Yet to reach a final this season and would be a surprise here.
CHRIS CATO [GLEN IRIS, 30m] - Daylesford 1600m Novice winner who showed some good form over the 400m journey pre Christmas. Some claims.
SHANE WOODROW [LAKE GARDENS, 30m] - 2010 Stawell 550m finalist struggling to recapture form of last season.
JAMES COLLIER [SANDRINGHAM , 30m] - Youngster showing good form over the 400m with an impressive third at Wangaratta. Possible finalist.
CHRIS TAYLOR [RICHMOND , 30m] - First VAL start this season after some good runs in big 800m events last year. Watch betting.
MITCHELL HOCKING [STRATHFIELDSAYE , 30m] - Maryborough 400m Novice winner unsighted since Daylesford. Can't dismiss.
MATTHEW McCAULEY [MOOROOLBARK , 30m] - Stawell 1600m backmarkers winner showing good form over the 800m trip this season. Not without claims.
ERIC SAPAC [GLADSTONE PARK, 31m] - Working his way back to fitness now and on best form would be in right in this. Watch betting.
ZANE ELLIOTT [SOUTH YARRA, 32m] - Not up to this on current form.
JAYSON HAYES-HORNIBROOK [BENTLEIGH EAST, 32m] - Not sighted much this season and 550m distance hasn't suited in the past. Look elsewhere.
JUSTIN MURPHY [BOX HILL, 32m] - Dandenong and VRTA 550m place getter and Wangaratta 800m winner. Nicely placed and in superb form. One of the main chances.
MATT GRANT [NORTH RINGWOOD, 32m] - VRTA and Movember 550m finalist with third placings in Ringwood and Avondale Heights 400m Gifts. Run well.
DAVID WILLIAMSON [ROWVILLE , 33m] - StAlbans 400m winner making his debut at the 550m distance. Not likely.
CRAIG ROLLINSON [WARRAGUL , 34m] - Rye 120m Gift winner whose 400m form has been unimpressive of late. Looks too long for him.
EVAN REES [BRIGHTON , 35m] - Winner of Avondale Heights 800m Open and runner up in Northcote 800m Open. Yet to final in a 550m event but could sneak in here.
NEIL BRENNAN [BRIGHTON , 36m] - VRTA 550m finalist. Up in class here and
DANIEL VEITH [PARK ORCHARDS, 38m] - Novice runner first-up over the 550m journey. Prefer others.
ALEXANDER BACALJA [SOUTH YARRA, 39m] - Can't have on current form.
ADAM RATCLIFFE [BLACK HILL, 39m] - Daylesford 400m Open winner who went on to score second placing in StAlbans 400m Open. Consider.
RHYS PARKINSON [MELTON SOUTH, 40m] - Novice runner who will find this tough.
MICHAEL TUHAN [TATURA , 40m] - Needs to lift on current form.
RICHARD POLKINGHORNE [GLEN IRIS, 40m] - Frequenting 300m Veterans events this season and 800m form below par. No.
PETER SPENCE [ST KILDA, 40m] - Failed to qualify for a 550m final so far this season. Recent 400m (2nd Camden Consol. Final) and 800m (2nd Wangaratta Open) form puts him in the mix.
DARREN NAISMITH [RINGWOOD NORTH, 42m] - Stawell 550m winner. Can't see him as a finalist here.
MATTHEW SANDILANDS [NORTH MELBOURNE, 42m] - Previous winner over the distance who has shown some 800m form of late. One for the multiples.
STEVEN MARSH [WEST BRUNSWICK, 42m] - Maryborough and StAlbans 400m Open finalist who has shown promise but harder here.
ROBERT KEENAN [SUNBURY , 44m] - Dandenong and VRTA 550m finalist with strong 400m form of late. Respect.
CALVIN GOOK [DIGGERS REST, 44m] - Youngster racing over all distances this season without success. Not yet.
BRADLEY ARMSTRONG [HAMPTON , 47m] - Tall runner lightly raced this season. No.
MICHAEL BROWN [HUGHESDALE , 48m] - Novice runner who looks to be better suited to the 1600m journey.
DAVID PAGE [ELSTERNWICK , 50m] - Consistent veteran who has shown form over 550m in previous seasons. Easier races for him.
NICK HOWARD [TULLAMARINE , 51m] - Unimpressive heat run in VRTA 550m last October. Fitter now but needs to find more.
GLENN COOPER [PAKENHAM , 53m] - Woodside 400m Novice winner who went on to score impressive second placing in open company in Wangaratta 400m. Rates highly.
ADRIAN PHELAN [ESSENDON , 54m] - Movember 550m finalist who went on to score top ten placings at Maryborough (800m & 1600m Open) and Ringwood (1600m Open). Big show.
CARL NEILL [SOUTH GEELONG, 54m] - Hasn't raced since 800m final at Terang last November. No.
MATHEW BOYES [FRANKSTON SOUTH, 55m] - Peninsula 120m Wom/Vets winner stepping up in distance here. Prefer others.
DAVID GRIFFIN [BOX HILL, 56m] - 400m runner untried at the 550m journey. Looks tested.
GREG HILSON [WHITE HILLS, 56m] - Victories in Rye 1600m Wom/Vets and Ringwood 1600m Open this season. Must respect.
DAVID WOODS [BRUNSWICK , 56m] - Multiple winner this season including 550m Open at Dandenong. Up in class here. Watch betting.
PAUL VINEY [NORTHCOTE , 60m] - StAlbans 300m Veterans winner who'll be adding nuisance value out front. More suited to a 550m par five than a 550m foot race. Look elsewhere.
SIMON BLYTH [RESERVOIR , 60m] - Impressive 800m runs at Rye and StAlbans. Wouldn't surprise.
MARK HIPWORTH [HUGHESDALE , 62m] - Seasoned campaigner who has won just about everything. Going well again this campaign and will be hard to run down.
ALICE PLATTEN [NARRE WARREN, 66m] - Three-time winner over 70m, 120m and 300m this season and Movember 550m finalist. Should give bold showing from the front.
MARTIN BARROW [BLACK ROCK, 68m] - Veteran runner showing consistent form over 300/400m distance. Looks tested at the 550m.
CHRISTOPHER DIXON [ST KILDA, 71m] - VRTA 550m finalist who needs to lift.
CHRISTOPHER BROWN [ATTWOOD , 72m] - Another veteran not quite up to this on current form.
RICHARD NORRIS [QUEENSLAND , 74m] - Lightly raced in VAL this season and takes on a strong field here.
ALAN DINSDALE [BRIGHTON EAST, 75m] - Prefer in something easier.
TOM HECIMOVIC [NEWPORT , 79m] - Woodside 300m Wom/Vets winner who is always competitive from the front. Respect.
CHRIS LIVITSANOS [INVERMAY , 83m] - Movember 300m Veterans winner who will give the backies something to chase down.
CELIA COSGRIFF [RICHMOND , 86m] - Competitive in Womens and Open company this season winning Northcote Womens 800m and finalist in Rye Open 800m. May run cheeky race from outmark.
