FORUM CHANGES - New Colours from Friday 20th May 2016

G'day All,

OK, I've been thinking of changing the colour scheme for a while. At Easter a couple of people said to me they love the forum but at times had trouble reading it. This has happened a few times over the years and I've never really got motivated to change it. But I think it's time we went with a more user friendly colour scheme.

I've also had problems when contributors wish to quote a previous post that I have to jump in and change the colour (of the quote) so the quote can be read to give context to the comment.

I've been looking at a few colour schemes and found one I'm confident should suit the forum.

It will be a fundamentally whitish background, similar to BigFooty and other major forums found on the internet.

So tomorrow - Friday 20th May, the new colour scheme begins.


Still a work in progress but we're getting there.....

Just noticed the Forum statistics, some nice round numbers.

We have 1050 registered users

Our users have posted a total of 14880 messages in 4600 subjects


Whilst I have tried to modify the type of advertising that goes on, we have no control over the adverts that appear along the top. Because the forum is provided free to us, the forum provider places the adverts.
