Who is the guy off scratch in Stonnington 300 masters. I presume he is the reason that 99% of runners have gone out 8 or 10 metres.

Is Shingo bringing this to Toorak Park?

I hope so.

He will make everyone look like they are going backwards if he's fit and actually runs this.

Yeah well I hope shingo wasn't paid to compete, if he was he should hand it back,he jogged the 300 which was really disappointing. The field was lifted 8m which affects a 300 vets dramatically, alot can change in that last 8m as we all witnessed in both 300's over the weekend, just in future we need to have make sure these marquee runners are really going to give there all because big field lifts effects the chances of our own regular backmarkers that compete on a regular basis and bust there ass week after week.

I wasn't there, but that's a real shame to hear.

Agree it was disappointing...maybe he needed to be worded up that to get out of his heat, no matter how fast he was, he still had to put the foot down at bit.  A few of the backmarkers still made it through though from memory but things may have been different or even closer if there was 8m more track.  I hope he still comes back for another run but this time prepared and willing to put in the effort.
