800m Open would have to be a two way battle between Track Specialists Jelfs and Khudoshin.
Looking at TTG last five years Jelfs won 2015 with Khudoshin 2nd, both have been given generous 3m lifts so would be expected to be right up there.
My selection Khudoshing to sit on Jelf and turn the tables.

Silence is Deafening
, I dont find it acceptable how someone can run the fastest time of the night in the womens open 200m yet can only muster 5th out 6 in the final.
Same as I dont find it acceptable that someone can run 9.253 off 9.50m in Underage but run only 9.464 off 10m in OPEN :

And do you know what the sad part of all this is, They are both juniors. Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Maybe Whispers, it's none of your business.

But for what it's worth.....

In the first instance a young girl was cooked following a long day of racing both at ASA and Tea Tree Gully.

As for the 70m result, I can only assume you weren't at Tea Tree Gully, because if you were there, you would have heard Hayden Cook ask for her to report to me and Phil Daws following the heat of the 70m Women.

Neither case involved anything untoward.

Please be mindful of how such issues are worded. Being a pro runner is not easy. You cannot perform at your best every outing. Poorly worded posts can be very hurtful and damaging. We work very hard and assure you it is not for the money! Variances in performances are a given. The sport would be boring if there wasn't. Particularly difficult to remain consistent for juniors learning the craft and vets managing injury and soreness.

If you've got nothing nice to say sometimes its better not to say any thing at all, especially if you don't know the facts. I'm sure there was some good positive things happen at Tea Tree Gully that can be discussed.

Theres a reason that Open athletes are dropping off and by Open I am referring to those over 21 , go out there and ask why they arent running anymore.I know the reasons because I have done the research.

Also Youngy I am very suprised that the athlete was referred to you and Phil Dawes as it was the Open Event where the slow time occurred, so would have thought the Open handicapper would have been involved.

I had the times the girls had run in the Under 17's written down as they ran in the Women's (open) heats so I was able to compare very quickly. I had also watched her as she 'laboured' in the heat. When the difference is so obvious it doesn't need more than one handicapper to act. I consulted with Phil Daws showing him the discrepancy. We called out & spoke to the athlete concerned, she gave a very reasonable response which in my view was consistent with what I saw. Information was relayed to Leon who was watching the rest of the heats. End of story.

Who has the handbrake on for a 200 race in SA anyway?
What are they waiting for? A bigger one?
What's the difference in prize money between TTG and Flinders? $60??
Hardly seems worth it.

Crikey there is no one in sa with money on their minds. This is not a lucrative business. The chances obreaking even are slim. Redicuois to consider

Exactly Rookie. You know it. Biggsy knows it. Youngy knows it. Anyone with half a brain knows it. No-one was pulling up in the 200.
Whispers is just being a shit stirring dickhead. Research my arse. Sounds like the only thing he researches is how to be a douche bag.

Your the common denominator here whispers, nothing but complaints on every post.. Do you even run? Or train? Have you ever?

If your a runner just train hard and improve, put it out of reach for anyone off their mark.

If your a coach, spend your time working on how you can get your athletes up to win off what ever mark anyone else is given. Rather that complaining about what everyone else is doing

If your neither. None of it concerns you.

Birds of a feather flock to together.

Whispers feels extremely honoured that theres a Camden Classic on this weekend and all the attention is for Whispers and none for the Classic.
All you fools should have a look in the mirror and in the meantime Whispers will bathe in the limelight and attention you choose to give him.
I cant believe that you have all set time to aside and elected to come on here and reply to Whispers.
Whispers is very very happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Bringing attention to yourself, running your mouth, after every post and talking in the third person doesn't earn respect, it makes you look like a narcissist.
Grinaldi1, Whispers use to run but doesn't any more. He never won anything decent and is jealous of anyone who does.

Grinaldi1

by his comments he was clearly no good as he is focused on what everyone else is doing.

What you are replying about has absolute nothing to do with the Post Title.

TTG Handicap Marks Replies has now soared past, anything to do with the Bay Sheff including the Guide.

How silly does it make all YOU sheep look.

How about getting on with whats important and thats this weeks Camden Classic.
I have put my tips out there before I know of the heats but guess I will hear from all you SHEEP Sunday night who you thought was going to win. Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing
