With Ballarat on the same weekend its unlikely we'll see any interstaters at Camden. When was the last time it was all SA final and all SA field?

I'm not sure about fields; you would probably have to go back to the 1990's to find a field where there were no interstate entries.

The last all SA final in a Camden Classic was 2008 when it was a 7-man final. It is the only final of the last 10 years that did not have an interstate athlete.

Of the last 15 Camden Classics, (involving 116 finalists) the John Henry squad has provided 10 finalists - the second most of any squad.

I'm pretty sure there's plenty of Vic's making the journey

wanna watch the handicaps before you make the journey. Stevens wins Rye off 6 (1/3 Camden prizemoney) and goes back to scratch with a push for the field. Paull wins Stawell less money than Camden and gets a 11 pull. Procaccion wins Bendigo (slightly more money than Camden) and gets pulled 12. Watkins wins Camden off 6 and gets pulled 6 only (scratches at Sacred Heart off 0.00m). Young seniors stay on their 300m marks. Seniors about 5m more than their 300m mark. All meet Watkins 6m better off. Victorians need their Vic mark but never get it. 2 400m races on the SAAL calender so far so hard to line up form.
Will pick the final now and their handicaps Clay Watkins 0m, Stenson 12m, Watkins, B 14m, Long-Scafidi 16m, Russell 20m (48.49 off 20m turns up pros just for this race), Harvey 20m (a senior with a novice handicap new to pros placed in all 3 runs of his in pros including a win), Stangewitz 23m, Bulabek 23m, Dartnall 33m
I have nine in final where there will prob only be 8. All been in final numerous times except for Russell and Harvey who get handicapped for not running in the pros. No doubt it will be a good race but leaves a lot of others without a chance
