South Australian Athletic League
4 hrs ·

It is a great sadness to learn of the sudden passing of SA Athletic League member, Peter Venables. Peter recently returned to SA Athletic League competition and was a very popular and respected runner. This photo is of the Over 35s 300m at the Marion carnival, where Peter finished a very close 2nd. Condolences to Peter's family and the members of Peter's running group, Team Townley

Tried to copy the photo but was unable to ,perhaps someone else can

Actually can recall Peter tripping up at Hectorville ,going down on his nose , but came up with a big smile on his face.

Pretty much shocked by the sudden death of Peter Venables.

Only briefly spoke to him on Sunday at Camden.

Condolences to Peter's family & the Team Townley Group.

And thanks Whispers, posting the news is much appreciated.
