These figures are those runners which have actually turned up and ran.
In the space of 14 years athlete numbers have dropped more than 50% in this event
How would you like to be a sponsor ,sponsoring this event.
Is it the wrong event for this time of the year now.
Does it need to be NON PENALTY
What say OPEN athletes make a point of supporting this Event this season and try and get those number up.

Fair point, but pretty sure the winner of Pulteney, if that is the only win until the next Camden Classic, would be running of the same mark they won Pulteney off. I haven't checked it, I just recall Harry May winning Pulteney off 20m and keeping that mark for Camden.

Thanks for that Hilly, just havent looked that far ahead, thats terrible only 2 x 400m events in a season , but still if anyone gets ready to whinge they should take a look in the mirror.
How would you like to be a handicapper trying to handcap the Camden Classic when all you have is the Sacred Heart event where the handbrakes are out big time or theres NO shows.

3 henley aswell
But I do agree
Pultney goes from 200m open (they changed this from the novice) which is another issue again on its own.
To 1600m open
Middle distance runners won't bother rocking up to this event at all.
