Certain finalists would have to be

Tronnolone........won in 2012 off same mark in 12.381 with tail wind, brings his A game would go close.
Dartnall ........continues to run well and making a presence.
Stangewitz....has his foot on a Gift win
Buchannan....won the Bay Restricted off same mark yet Bulabek comes back half metre after running second to him.

What do others think and perhaps someone can explain to a mere peasant like me why Bulabek meets Buchannan worse off for being beaten.

I assume Whispers you think D Gross will scratch.
Gross is only back 1 metre from his Bay Sheffield mark. He has all these guys covered, easily.
Hicks won Brighton Gift. Gross meets Hicksy 2.25 better off for beating him in the bay final. Gross would have won Brighton by 2.
He meets Ryan Hancock 0.5 better off and Hancock just won Marion. He would have won Marion by 2.

Hey Racingmania . good to see you are studying the form.
If you go back to PreBay meeting Cibich beats Gross off one metre less than he meets him Sunday. So how could Gross possibly beat Cibich Sun.
Thats why Pro racing is so interesting, throw in the factor that theres a little Gift coming up down the track called the Loxton Gift and it makes it very intersting.

Think Spiderman hit the nail fair and square on the head.

Gross beats Cibich if he wants too based on his Bay Run. Cibich might be in heavy training to come up right for Loxton. I think we shouldn't discredit Ryder. He been running well and it wouldn't surprise me, that if we had good conditions, he is amongst the place getters.

Tronnolone is NO chance!

Forgot to add lol!  to your post.

Pre-Bay form can be disregarded, post Bay Sheff, any analysis of PreBay should have been shredded by now.
Gross spanked Cibich when it mattered.
More chance of Tony Abbot joining ISIS than Gross running at Hectorville.

Hey Racingmania you are answering your own questions.

You started by telling us why Gross can blitz the field.
Then you come out and tell us that he can blitz Cibich when it matters.
Well Whispers reckons it wont matter on Sunday.

Three heats of the Under 17 boys 120m and the winners of each heat filled the positions on the podium.Well Done for running consistantly through the day.

As for the Under 17 girls, three heat winners seemed to have lost a bit of time between heat and final.
Yes I understand wind factors etc.
But the second placegetters in those three particular heats didnt lose as much time as the Heat winners did.
Whispers is saying either the second placegetters didnt try in their heats which I find to be seen as unlikely as only first two went through OR the Winners were a bit tardy in the final.
If it was Winners only ,we could all blame the fluctuating wind for their time loss but to be able to compare their times with someone else who actually ran in their heat its no more than a joke what some are getting away with.

In respect to a couple of these cases, they were immediately noted & dealt with on the day. Fair to say they won't be seeing any increase in marks in the immediate future.

The issue of inconsistency & form fluctuations have been a concern in the female sprint events all season. Bottom line is the athlete will be handicapped on the best performances & any below par performances will be ignored.

Where the athlete might have been in line for a lift, that won't happen until the level of consistency becomes satisfactory.

Yes Birdman. All finals & the semis.

I spent a lot of fruitless time on Sunday night trying to upload the races to YouTube.

It kept failing to upload so it appears my home connection to YouTube is a problem.

I was on the phone to Telstra yesterday and it appears there's an issue with the cabling.

I haven't sufficient memory on my camera to keep footage of every meet so I need to get these races uploaded ASAP.
