Since 2001 - 13 Bay Sheffield carnivals.

About 54% of all finalists since 2001 have been SA athletes.

There were seven in the 2004 final & a dead heat for 3rd in 2011 - hence 40 finalists.

By the looks of the history of the final its pretty unusual for NSW/ACT not be represented.So you would expect at least one to get through this year.
After reading Youngys in depth form guide I think WA can also final.
Unfortunately these finals spots have to come from somewhere and I think SA is going to get a big hit and have one of its worst reprentations.Two or less.
Hope Im eating humble pie at the end of the day but Im very nervous.

J Jakeman looks the one from NSW/ACT. 7.00 in 2012, back 0.75 and reputedly in faster shape.
Hale Storm must be a strong chance to final. So Tassie might have a finalist. (Been done before?)
M Short from WA & I Dunmall Qld look like others to push for the final.
Best from Victoria is probably R Spencer or R Camille.
From SA I can only find room for Hotlips Houlihan, Hicksy, maybe Gross.
