Smallest men's gift field I have ever seen! I notice only Harvey and Greenough entered from the Meadowglen Gift Final. No Fitzpatrick, Rosen, Taylor, Morehouse, Lehmann or Whittaker. So I guess that makes those 2 the favs. Let's see if your poll actually works this week. Didn't help us much last week Mex!

Thanks for the support sprintstar. I think the poll was pretty good with the outmarker holding on until the end of the race only to come second. Rosen has a good mark and the poll reflected that. There were a lot of people who backed in the favourite for the Melbourne Cup as well and it didn't win.

FWIW I think that an outmarker will win both races on the weekend, unless someone wants to test the new ruling on getting their mark back for the classic races. Look for someone at or above 10m who may want to take what they can.

Just stirring the pot Mex! Conditions suited the backmarkers which would've made it tough for the guys out front to hold on.

As for Warrnambool I agree. Can't see more than 5 people entered wanting to win this. Wouldn't be surprised if only 10-15 ran on the day. All the votes on Brittain, Dunbar, Greenough, Hignett, Woodrow etc are a waste of time.

It seems that tips for this weekend is tough with a large spread. Can Cooper win the double? Tipped for both at the moment.
