KENMORE HIGHLAND GAMES

The only evening Games on the SHGA circuit takes place at Kenmore on Wednesday night[2nd July].

The picture-postcard setting at the foot of Loch Tay on a lovely summer evenig is breathtaking.

Maybe not the biggest games on the circuit but Kenmore has a unique ambience which attracts spectators and competitors alike.

There is a full programme of heavy evenys which always attracts a quality field, the games also stage a round of the Perthshire heavy events competition.

On the track there are 90m, 400m and 800m events for Open and Junior runners all with six prizes of [Open] £30-£25-£20-£15-£10-£3 [Junior] £15-£12-£10-£6-£4-£2.
Enter on the night for track events, open to all.

The games also stage an Open & Junior Hill Race up one of the highest hills on the circuit.

Action gets underway at 5.30pm. Admission £5 Children & Car Parking Free.

Completing the programme there is Tug of War, Open, and Local, plus full Highland Dancing and Solo Piping competiions.
