This award is for services and support to the Victorian Athletic League that has been stand out and exemplary for the season. Nominees can be any of the VAL Officials, VAL Volunteers, Members of Staff, Board of Directors, Club Committee Members or Club Volunteers.

Tom Burbidge (outside his role as the VAL CEO, major contributor to organising 3 meetings last season)

Tommy Burke (VAL photographer for many years and important contributor to the setting up and packing up on race days)

Peter Emmerson (significant contribution to the improvement of the VAL this season and one of the a major drivers behind the Big Bash Gillette 300m & Ballarat meeting)

Greg Hilson (Freely contributes his photographic skills on race day taking action shots of many of the races for upload onto the VAL Facebook page)

John Holloway (Stalwart of the VAL stewarding panel and gentleman of the sport)

Neil McDonald (Only athletics focused member of the Bendigo Gift board, who actively seeks to promote and better the running program and quality of races, driver of the women’s day initiative)

Frances O’Connell (Major driver behind the Burramine Gift in spite of several major setbacks)
