Is there a heat policy that may effect the Ballarat Gift? or is it full steam ahead unchanged?

Well this is one of the silliest threads on this forum, and that's saying something.

And for the record, there is a Heat Policy at Ballarat.

Regulation 4 - Extreme Heat Policy
4.1 In the event that the temperature exceeds 35degrees as forecast on the day prior, athletes will run.

4.2 In the event that the temperature exceeds 38degrees as forecast on the day prior, athletes will run.
4.2.1 South Australian athletes complaining about the weather shall be penalised one increment on the handicap scale.

4.3 Sprinters complaining about the heat who are still present during the 3200m event shall forfeit any winnings from the carnival. These winnings shall be added to the pool of prizemoney for the 3200m event.

Laughin: Glad to see the old SA, Vic digs at each other is alive and well. Just for the record though, I did not complain! Just wanted clarification, already spent $400 getting to Melbourne, didn't want to spend another $200 getting to Ballarat to find an empty oval. Anyways, Cibich 1st, Watkins 2nd, Saliu 3rd :)Kick a Vic!

Lets add a new rule

4.4 In the event that the forecasted temperature in Ballarat exceeds 15 degrees celcius (highly unlikely), any South Australian athlete prepared to spend the money to compete in, and support a VAL event shall immediately qualify for free drinks at the track and upgraded motel room with boosted air conditioning services.
