The Be Active Mullewa Gift will be on again as part of the Annual Mullewa Agricultural Show on Saturday 31st of August 2013.

2010 Commonwealth Games 4x400m Gold medallist, 2012 Olympic Games representitive & WCAL Ambassador Ben Offereins will be competing.

Ben will also visit the local Mullewa schools and football team.

2013 IPC World Championship finalist Chad Perris will also compete in the 70m & 120m races. The WCAL Ambassador finished 5th in the T13 100m final with a new Oceania Record.

The total prizepool has increased this year to $5200!

Pro Event/Prizemoney/Classification:

•120m Be Active Open Mullewa Gift – $2500 (Group 3)

•70m Jim Wilson Sprint – $1150 (Group 1)

•120m Novice Race - $600 (Group 2)

•550m Race – $500 (Group 3)

•100m Community Sprint (non-handicapped, locals only) – $200

•U17 100m Race (non-handicapped) – $150
•U14 100m Race (non-handicapped) – $100

Please note: Entries for the non-handicapped 100m Community Sprint & U17/U14 Races will be accepted on the day no later than 1 hour before the scheduled start time of the event/s. These will be seperate Male & Female races.
