NSW fab four smash State record

An Australian team comprising four NSW athletes broke an 18-year-old State record at the Taiwan Open Athletics Championships on Monday.

The Australian team of Anthony Alozie (Sutherland), Isaac Ntiamoah (Bankstown), Nick Hough (Sydney Uni) and Jarrod Geddes (Illawong) won the men’s 4x100m relay in 39.06s to break the previous NSW record of 39.55 set in 1995.

Hong Kong finished second in 39.18 with Taiwan (39.33) third.
