Murlin Every had a great Season in 2012/13 after spending all of the previous season out through illness, Murlin was able to overcome a serious health issue and win 6 Sashes at various distances ranging from 200M to 1600 Meters, his best performances coming at the Bay Sheffield meeting in 2012 with Murlin able to win on both days a very unique double. The Under 17 Award won by Murlin was a great reward for effort. Stablemate Lewis Abdul only 14 years old, also had a great year winning three sashes and also completing the double at the rich Loxton Carnival, saluting in the Under 17 300M & the Under 20 120M.The talent down south is untapped and is continuing to gain momentum, lets hope these young men continue to work hard and get to the highest level. After pondering on whether to continue with my coaching or retire i am very glad to have continued with my passion. Congratulations to all Award Winners in 2012/13
