Hi Guys,

I am no expert by any means but can someone please explain to me how the following occurs? I am just looking at the 550m and 800m handicaps quickly.

Kostya KHUDOSHIN - runs 50.54 over 400m in January and gets a 31m handicap?
Josh Mather runs poorly over 550m at Stonnington (way off the pace) yet only gets a 1m lift?
Peter Spence gets a 3m lift over 550m since Stonnington whilst others get none?

Kostya KHUDOSHIN RUNS 1.53.10 in January and gets a 36m handicap?
Eric Sapac is 2 secs off the pace at Bendigo yet doesn't get a lift?
Mark Hipworth and Andrew Patten don't make the 800m final at Bendigo and don't get a lift?
Campbell Mclennan got 0m increase to his handicap after coming last in the Bendigo 800m final... But Gordon Muir who came 7th out of 9 in the same race gets an 8m increase?
Matt Axford who has run 1.55 for 800m runs from 46m?

Double Jeopardy

I'd be more concerned with the Euroa 550m winner receiving a lift!

Obviously an error but doesn't do anything to instill much confidence in the rest of the handicaps.

I was under the impression ALL who ran the 550m at Euroa except the first three placed (winner pulled,) would be given a 1 metre lift for putting themselves in front of the Stewards and supporting the Euroa Meet.
This is the case for some but not others???
Discretion at work I guess!

No error just rewarding a runner who has a go every time he runs I think
