1 VAL Website on Fri Mar 22, 2013 9:18 am

Just wanted to say how disappointing it is that the VAL website is so out of date and uninformative leading up to the biggest event of the year. I know there are plenty of "reasons" for this but in the end it makes it pretty hard to promote the sport effectively when (what should be) the chief source of information is so unhelpful. Hopefully the off season will give them a chance to work out the 'kinks' in the system.

according to val website there is still about 80 days to stawell

dont panic plenty of time to get info Idea Idea Twisted Evil Wink Wink Wink

3 Re: VAL Website on Fri Mar 22, 2013 11:16 am

Actually there is still 76 days till Burramine - which probably explains why the MARIBYRNONG timetable or handicaps haven't been posted yet

4 Re: VAL Website on Fri Mar 22, 2013 12:12 pm

As far as I can see the MARIBYRNONG handicaps are still not on the website - maybe I should be looking under a different heading?????

JH I think you have missed the point of my post - it was about the effectiveness of the VAL site as a promotional tool for the sport. I fully appreciate the great information (and the efforts you take)that PROTRACK provides. However unless newcomers / fans know to look at PROTRACK then the VAL (via their website)& the sport of prorunning just look unprofessional - which concerns me because I love it
