Is the Albury 400m better than the Bendigo 800m? How does the Melbourne-based Stonnington 550m compare the often praised Stawell 550m sash? You can help find the answer.

It’s simple, click on the link below which will take you to a very short survey. The survey asks you to give each of the races below a score out of 5. The higher the number, the more you want to win that event. The lower the number the less you want to win.

Wow, the response has already been fantastic. Some fascinating insights already appearing especially in relation to the un/importance of Stawell and what people think of Avondale Heights 400m (which might affect how people run there this weekend). At this rate, results should be up by Wednesday night.

If you haven't yet completed the survey and are reading this, click on the link below. It'll take 30seconds and is anonymous. Or better yet, send the link to other runners in your inbox.

Fellow 400m runners, we are still 8 responses short before Dizzy can publish the results of the survey on the most wanted 400-800m races of the VAL season.

A preview of the results reveals one fascinating finding regarding the Avondale Heights 400m and another interesting finding regarding the Bendigo 400m Opal.

If you are reading this and haven't completed the 30sec survey, click on the link below. Totally anonymous.
