So I have some time to write a few thoughts.

There are the newbies, the juniors, the young Davids (Miller and Palmer) and the young Tim Johnson and a few others like Mr Supreme Quilts Shane Grimwade ... going very well so far in 2012/2013 SAAL season, despite only being allowed to run in the over35s.
Well done youngsters.

======
Then there are the younger codgers, the younger over45s like young Eugene DeVizio and the legend Ali Saliu who are doing well ...

and Chris Dimitrak and Michael Cassidy who have pulled up in races,
not doing so well ...

======
And at the next level up, just below the legend Brian Hart, there are the over55 brigade ... lots of Team Townley perspective here ...

Lyn Peake broke her shoulder at the finish line at Loxton almost a year ago ...

Brett Stokes has been working on his wardrobe this season ...

Ross Hill-Brown has been polishing his social skills ...

all above doing okay this season so far ... working up to something ?? ...

We have seen a little of Darcy Cheney ... big strides.

Not much at all seen on the track of the formerly known as The Porn Star (because of the moustache) but now known as Ali's dad Craig Trewartha.

After pulling his first two sashes in the space of a blink of a codger's third eye, then pulling up injured ouch ouch, Alex Jefferies has been resting his sore bits and will come back in the scots tiger tradition real soon now watch out.

======
And at the next level up, perhaps the highest level, certainly the highest level we can see from down here, the legend Brian Hart ...

Have the aliens returned Brian Hart yet?
Okay maybe aliens did not take Brian away and maybe there is some other explanation for his DNS in the final at TTG ...
