Aha, Nittaz racket exposed!
If the 4 final is scheduled late, Nittaz will just roll around in the heat so he can get to the tennis on time.

Don't need to get to Hisense arena until 7ish.... Should be enough time assuming it's not a 7 hr carnival. If 400m final is that late, I'll do the right thing and am more than happy to run the mile instead.

Keenan spotted hiding in the bushes at Rye. Not wanting to show anything ahead of this Sunday. Big show.

Others: Parkinson, Hocking, Collier, Blake, M Hargreaves

Looking at Katherine Clarkes 56.61 in her 400m heat at Rye from scratch on a slow track, and with 48 metres less to run,and on synthetic, would have to be in contention.

Kath Clarke has the ability, but will racing against the Sunbury Slayer impact her focus?

Have to like Baird and Dooley after their Maryborough Novice runs.
Samuel BAIRD 20.00 46.662
Jack DOOLEY 32.00 46.691

Also, Mitch Hocking in the 400 Open
Mitchell HOCKING 26.00 46.150

Samuel BAIRD COGHILLS CREEK 20 - same mark
Jack DOOLEY Flora HILL 27 - back 5m.
Mitchell HOCKING STRATHFIELDSAYE 21 - back 5m

Jay Blake is only back 3m after his Rye win, so he'll be in the mix.

Katherine Clarke had to go around virtually the entire field at Rye on a giant, soft oval, and spent much of the race without anyone nearby. Running off 47, and on a track, will definitely put her performance in the mix. My only concern is that she may have too much left in the tank at the finish, given the sizeable difference between her mark and her flat 400 race conditioning.

Collier looked good in both his heat and final at Rye, but off 22 at Ringwood, and with a tendency to move late, he'll have to find a way through alot of traffic in the final straight.

Rhys Parkinson looks like he has the speed and mark to take virtually any race he wants this season. Off 34, I'm sure he'd be in the mix for Ringwood, but I'd be surprised if he wasn't gearing for a crack at the Black Opal and willing to let a few contenders cop penalties for winning Ringwood, Avondale Heights and Ballarat. His performance here may give us an indication of JH's goals for the season.

Should be a great spectacle.

BBB you can have 1000's about Keenan for unlimited amount, simply not enough speed for Ringworm 400m!

Mick The Rex wonders if Crusher Clarke can take Sunbury Slayers length, simarly can Sunbury Slayer take Crusher Clarkes strength?

Can't wait to see these two specimens go toe to toe, literally!

Gentelman & Ladies, you heard it here first straight from the coaches keyboard, jknott123 has declared his boy Lonain "Ferret' Burnett will run sub 46sec, we have a new favourite for Ringworm 400m.

Ferret runs, he wins!

A lot of boys will be using Ringwood as a good tune up race before a windy 400m race in Sth Aust, and a big 400m up at Tom B country, some guys can even be spotted using the 100m at ringwood as a warm up stride for the 400m, even if they have made big gift finals over the xmas period, it dont matter....anyway will be a great race.
