Do these marks reflect the results from Ararat/Maryborough? Looks like some adjusting may need to be done...

Some interesting marks in the Gift.

Parkinson runs 12.17 off 10.5 to win Latrobe and stays on the same mark.

Would imagine there are a number of other errors???

Yes smoke you are correct, he will have to have his mark reduced significantly, not only for his big win, but also I would suggest that given that he ran 12.17, which SMASHES net time to bits that some extra consideration would be given to tis fact.

I know that the TAL dont take wind readings, but you cant go from staggering to the line in the warragul gift to sizzling down the track in 12.17 two weeks later.

Whilst I'm not doing the handicaps this season, I can assure you that there is no way known the daylesford marks could include lifts arising from Ararat and maryborough performances. In order to be declared yesterday, they must have been done by the handicappers prior to Maryborough for starters.
Once a meeting has been conducted each performance needs to be assessed individually, APs allocated and then if due for a lift, marks changed. There were over 500 entries at Maryborough so the process takes considerable time.
Then once the next set of entries are received, this will be reflected in the marks. Given that handicaps are generally being done at least a week in advance, you can allow a two week lag time before they appear in your marks.
Hopefully this helps explain the process a bit.

If they want it, the GIFT winners will be out of the below I think:

1486 Matthew HARGREAVES TARNEIT 2.5

6271 Mohamad ZEED CHADSTONE 5

5742 Adam COOTE ELWOOD 7.5 (possible calf)

7099 Noddy ANGELAKOS COBURG 9.5

Maybe even Rhys PARKINSON, though interesting to see his adjustment...

All can win, with Matty & Noddy in great form. Coote I believe he has maybe done a calf...can anyone confirm??

Bit harsh, think you'll find that Dougie didn't quite ripped the rex out of his string at Bay, but his certainly knicked a fibre or two.
