Hicks won $90 at henley. 0.25 is a fair penalty going into a 6k race.

Not if previous winners at Henley or Reynella have lost .5m.

it also goes on times as well.

12.57 is quick

Consistency.....

D.Tippins, could this be true? The man.. the legend is back!

Leave Hicksie alone, he is in good form and has only won a few sashes in his time.. he seems to have got himself in good nick and is running well. I am sure Leon knows what he is doing.

Rookie Error

Credit to Hicks, running well and obviously not holding anything back. I'd rather see people supporting the league, and running well at all meets getting rewarded rather then everyone holding out for the big ones.

Looks like there's a few locals running which should be interesting.

Think Letton is big chance in the gift - has been running well and gets a .25 lift. from some close finishes behind Hicks.

800m looks a cracker!

Cheers.

With you Rookie,on paper the 800m looks like a cracker.
But I think that because its a straight out final the backmarkers may come flying home but the front markers will hold on.Big Luke Stewert will lead for a very very long way and R McMahon who ran 58 sec for 400 at Santos last week surely must be around the mark as well.
Will depend on scratchings as we know that the circle runners can be a little soft at times and it would have been different if it had been heats and final but for me its the frontmarkers sash.
Once again Rookie ,spot on with Letton who would meet Hicks .50m better off.But the field is full of runners who fancy themselves at the Bay so watch for those handbrakes. If anyone of those handbrakes were to be released the Gift will go elsewhere.
