No individual gold medals in the main sports athletics and swimming puts so much pressure on Sally. Lucky for us she is tough as nails and should get the job done.

Pearson will win and bring the athletics total medals to two and thats where it will end. Be a miracle if we get another.
Hollingsworth's ambitious forecast of 6 medals was never a chance.

Brilliant again by Sally Pearson, 12.38 in the semi final. Fastest up with only Dawn Harper 12.46' being under 12.50.
Wells got through OK with her win in 12.53.

Final at 5.30am.

Agreed Youngy, she looked good and will likely find in the final (even in the conditions). I don't think any of the other girls have any improvement in them. Will be great if she wins, she would relegate 3 Americans to minor placings.
