Gatlin to return from four-year ban
TALINN, ESTONIA
The Age
July 28, 2010.

Disgraced former Olympic 100 metres champion Justin Gatlin is set to make his comeback from a four-year doping ban at a meet in Estonia next week.

Spokesman Taavi Esperk says Gatlin will race in the 100 metres at the Kuldliiga meet in the northeastern town of Rakvere, about 100 kilometers from Tallinn.

The American is also likely to race at the Ergo Games in Tallinn on August 8.

Gatlin won gold in the 100 metres at the 2004 Athens Olympics and in the 100 and 200m at the 2005 world championships.

In 2006 he tied the 100m world record of 9.77 seconds, a run that came weeks after a positive test in April 2006 for excessive testosterone and has since been erased.
