The $5000 Kennards Hire Rockingham Gift is back, bigger and better than ever! Officially Perth's richest professional racing carnival is on Saturday February 4th 2012 @ Hourglass Reserve, Waikiki. On the program from 9am-12pm for the first time in WA professional running history, is equal prizemoney for the Men's and Women's 120m handicapped gift races. Continuing to break ground the separate men's and women's 550m races will both have the same prizemoney awarded as well. Thanks to Rockingham Districts Little Athletics Centre and Kennards Hire, this is a WA professional racing first!

Australian Track representative Jody Henry and Commonwealth Games Gold medalist Ben Offereins were taking pictures, signing autographs and presenting medals at the Rockingham meeting. They were joined by WA's sprint sensation Mangar Makur Chuot who was also there to sign autographs for the kids and present some little athletics awards. Commentary by Mark Blatchford.
