The Motorola Gippsland Gift will be run on Saturday, 17th December 2011. With a new name, new location and even more prize money!

The event, previously named the Woodside Gift, will take place at the Traralgon Recreation Reserve in the heart of the City of Latrobe.

15 professional athletics races will be held over the day, including the prized 120m Sprint Championship, run in line with Athletics Australia - an invitation only event featuring the fastest runners from around the country.

There will be plenty of fun for the whole family with the Brooks Fun Run starting at 8am, followed by a Little Athletics clinic with Sally Pearson - who was recently awarded female Athlete of the Year, the first time an Australian has received this honour.

The Athlete Zone is shaping up to be a great area for all athletes to relax and prepare for races with goodies supplied by sponsors including Powerade.
