looks to be a big Gift field. hopefully everyone runs.
Can over35 hold it from the front or will the likes of James and Caldow storm home.
What are other's tips?

Youngy you are right the U20 300 will be a hard one to pick!

On what I saw at Port/Flinders, Caldow should win the gift.
Lauren Buchanan to win the womens 120.
Cranky Franky double in the 300s. Megan Letton Womens 300. James Cibich Open 300.

It's okay, I am happy to face the challenge.

As expected, The handicapper has hit me hard - I will run off 48m in the Messenger Press 300m Over 45 event at Henley, compared to 57m at Reynella one year ago and compared to 55m in my most recent 300m at Loxton in February.

Meanwhile Mick Abbott and Ross Hill-Brown are both on the same 46m mark as one year ago when they both reached the podium.

And Ali Saliu is off 20m compared to 24m one year ago. Watch out for the man in the red.

So I have an extra nine metres to run compared to one year ago when I won my first SAAL sash at Reynella.

Can I do it again?

Have I got it in me?

Am I that much faster?

Am I that much stronger?

Do I want it enough?

By the full moon light on Friday night
We will see who will be
Number one on 11/11/11
at Henley by the sea

I think Grimwade will finish in the top 3 regradless of who shows up. Caldow showed his true colours at Flinders indicating that he hasn't lost much from last year. He should improve on his Port Adelaide result which puts him right up in this. Sclanders showed signs of form at Flinders but is yet to run the gift distance so we will have to wait and see. There is a big difference between running a 70m and the Gift distance, ask a former Whyalla gift winner. It will be interesting to see how Bubner goes but he hasn't competed for a while and you only have to look at Thorpe to see it isn't easy just to jump straight back into competition. Gross and WLS will be around the mix again and have shown some good signs early.

Grimwade will be lucky to final. Stakes go up at Henley. Runners a little fitter and many will be improved from the first two meets.

If Sclanders can get the distance, I think he will win. Caldow finished 2m behind him in Flinders 70 and gives him a bigger start. Richards can't catch him either. Watch for Robbie James. Word is his rig is much better than last year! Gross should go well and won't be far away. Sames as Wallace Long-Scafidi.

Caldow will account for Sclanders ok! Did you happen to miss his 200m at Flinders? He is all class! The 120m is his pet event. Grimwade will final as some of those guys you mentioned are probably still in heavy training.

Really looking forward to seeing the gift form of Richards, Sclanders & Tronnolone. Word is they are absolutely flying at training, can they convert this form to comp day/night?

You must move in funny circles. none of them would be flying this time of year. my guess you will see one flying at Whyalla, one flying at MtGambier and all three flying at the Bay.
