1 Athletics SA season starts Nov 6 at Enfield on Fri Sep 17, 2010 9:19 am

The ASA interclub season kicks off on Saturday 6th November.

With SANTOS unavailable due to a new track being laid, all competition will be conducted at Enfield Harriers, a grass track in the northern suburbs.

The SANTOS stadium track should be ready by March with the first competition scheduled there on Saturday 5th March 2011.

The ASA state championships are scheduled for Friday 25th, Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th March 2011.

Yesterday ASA released a statement regarding the training arrangements at SANTOS stadium:

16 Sep 2010
Training on the track at Santos Stadium has been extended until Tuesday, 28th September 2010. We have been told this will have no impact of the completion date of the upgrade.

AND in SA - Daylight Saving for 2010/11: - 3 October 2010 to 3 April 2011

will there be electric timing at enfield?

Don't think there will be too many out at Enfield. Everyone is talking pros. Going to be a lot of new runners at the pro meets in SA.
