1 Jim Bradley on Thu Oct 13, 2011 10:12 am

To update on Jim Bradley, I spoke to him earlier today and he is in very good spirits.

He has recently moved to the Arcadia Aged Care Facility in Essendon. He is going well, getting out & about, still coaching and enjoying being looked after by the excellent staff at Arcadia. After visiting Scotland earlier this year, he is planning another trip abroad in 2012.

He was keen to let me know that his good friend - Frank Dick, now chairman of Scottish Athletics is also the current president of the European Athletics Coaches Association.

Frank Dick has a great admiration for Jim's training methods and descibed Jim Bradley (on the 1988 speedball video) as the man who in the world of sprinting, bridged the gap between an athlete having potential and that athlete realising the potential.
