MEDIA RELEASE: Tabcorp Park Super Series
16th SEPTEMBER 2011

After the success of our series last October and during the winter, Tabcorp Park has once again come on board for a second series of events. The Super Series was established last year and we have locked in four different nights of running which will start on October

The following events and prizemoney and dates have been finalised.

(All weekly heat winners' to receive $150 plus a sash. Each event will cost $10 to enter).

Friday 14th October
400m Open (Heats and final) $300
1040m Open (Straight final) $300

Friday 21st October
400m Open (Heats and final) $300
1040m Open (Straight final) $300

Friday 28th October
400m Open (Heats and final) $300
1040m Open (Straight final) $300

The details of the finals will be as follows.
Friday 4th November
400m Open (top 10 athletes) $1,500
800m Open (top 10 athletes) $1,500

The winners' of each final to receive $750 plus a sash.

Handicaps for the series will be set on a discretionary basis.

Athletes will gain points for competing each week and the top 10 athletes of each distance will qualify for the finals. All events will be non-penalty.
