Interesting that the difference in reaction time between Jeter (0.167) and Veronica Campbell-Brown (0.234) is 0.067. Almost the difference between them at the end. (0.07)

INTERMEDIATE TIMES
400m 51.33 David Lekuta RUDISHA (KEN)

Rudisha is the fastest 800m athlete of all time and now he's on his way to being the best half-miler of all time. Did what he had to do and now London is next. Superb effort by Borzakovskiy to win the bronze medal, certainly knows how to prepare for a major championship..

Men's 110m Hurdles
Wind: -1.1m/s
1 Jason RICHARDSON USA 13.16
2 LIU Xiang CHN 13.27
3 Andrew TURNER GBR 13.44
4 David OLIVER USA 13.44
5 1098 Aries MERRITT USA 13.67
5 459 William SHARMAN GBR 13.67
DNF Dwight THOMAS JAM DNF
DQ Dayron ROBLES CUB DQ 163.2

Robles disqualified after he appeared to impede Liu Xiang. Defintely affected Liu Xiang and the DQ was probably the correct decision. Great effort by Richardson after being a bit player for most of the season to the big three - Oliver, Robles & Xiang. Oliver paid the price for his 'bull at a gate' technique.

Favourite Chewya who was undefeated all year in the Diamond League is beaten! Chewya did struggle in her last DL run where she couldn't break 9-20. Perhaps the fact she's been heavily racing over the distance all year took its toll. Big run by the Russian, Zaripova leading for the majority of the race.
